As Director of Expanded Learning, Diana is dedicated to carrying out the agency’s commitment to provide technology, training, and resources to youth and adults across Los Angeles. In her four-year tenure, Diana has managed a portfolio of technology related projects totaling more than $9.8 million dollars, the most notable being a BTOP Public Computer Center (PCC) Grant that enabled YPI to deploy over 1,700 workstations across 83 PCCs throughout Los Angeles County.

In addition to her direct service efforts, Diana also functions as the agency lead and co-project coordinator for the Los Angeles County Regional Broadband Consortia; a diverse group of organizations committed to providing technology leadership and engaging in activities aimed at accelerating broadband deployment, access, and adoption.

Prior to joining YPI, Diana was with the LA’s BEST After School Enrichment Program for 10 years where she provided comprehensive program support, professional development and supervision for multiple schools throughout the San Fernando Valley.

Diana holds a bachelor’s degree in human services and is currently an MBA student at Loyola Marymount University. She resides in the Northeast San Fernando Valley with her husband and 3 dogs.
