A simple idea, now a global movement
After the sales of Black Friday and the online shopping boom on Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday is an opportunity to come together to show the world why it’s good to give. Whether it’s making a donation, volunteering your time or just spreading the word at the start of the Christmas shopping season, #GivingTuesday is a call to action for everyone who wants to give something back.
#GivingTuesday is not a movement, it’s a moment.
— President & CEO of United Nations Foundation
Everyone can be generous
There are so many ways you can make a difference today. Whether it’s telling your friends about our cause, volunteering your time, or making a donation, you have the power to give back.
Share our story. Tell your friends, family and colleagues about our unique approach to fighting poverty and how they can get involved.
Your donation will fund our initiatives that cater to students and their families that come from low-income neighborhoods in Los Angeles.
We've got plenty of opportunities to volunteer. Whether it's through our AmeriCorps program or through community events, we want you to take part.
#GivingTuesday shows the world’s a better place when people come together for good.
We provide campus tours so students can get excited about their college options. That’s almost an entire bus-load of students!
That covers the cost of 1-on-1 or small group tutoring for 28 hours.
Imagine the smiles of a mother when she can receive farm fresh produce baskets from our Community Supported Agriculture program for 23.5 weeks—that’s half a year of groceries!
We provide deals, too! Young adults looking for work are eligible for clothing coupons. Looking professional when looking for work doesn’t have to be hard on the wallet.
With $423, we can cover one application fee for students who qualify for Deferred Action for Early Arrivals. Now that’s giving without borders!
On Thanksgiving, we gave thanks and demonstrated our gratitude.
On #GivingTuesday, we give back and demonstrate our generosity in spirit.
