This is new career technical education funding from the state that will allow our schools to open medical simulation labs, only the second and third schools in the nation (the first is in Texas). Students will be able to take on all the roles in a hospital—doctor, surgeon, phlebotomist—using lifelike manikin patients. This is a virtual system akin to a flight simulator and is what doctors use in their own professional training
