Face Forward Mentoring Model

Face Forward is looking for mentors from a variety of education and career fields. If you’re interested in making an impact in a young person’s life, this program is for you! Face Forward supports youth who’ve been involved in the juvenile justice system by helping those at risk meet their education and career goals. Program volunteers have the choice to engage with youth in a small group setting at either our Pico-Union or Hollywood Youth Center locations Mentors will have weekly check-ins and meet with youth in person twice per month over 6-month commitment.

• Pass a LiveScan background check
• Attend an in-person training and webinars totalling 20 hours
• Commit to engage mentee weekly by phone and at least twice per month in person for a minimum of t six months
