ServiceWorks Mentoring Model

ServiceWorks is looking for mentors from a variety of fields in education and career. If you enjoy facilitating workshops in a classroom setting, this program is for you! Youth enrolled in our ServiceWorks program learn about the importance of community service as an effective tool for positive change, and have the opportunity to create their own Capstone Project in which they plan and implement their own community service project. As a ServiceWorks mentor, you will implement our curriculum in either a one-on-one or small-group setting, as well as create smart goals and action steps that support youth in achieving these goals.

REQUIREMENTS

• Pass a LiveScan background check
• Attend a three-hour in-person training
• Commit to three in-person check-ins with youth for a minimum of three months
