Chief Operating Officer
Ruth Dineros is Chief Operating Officer for Youth Policy Institute. Ruth leads the strategic direction for YPI’s internal operations and provides focused oversight in the areas of Information Technology, Facilities, Human Resources, Learning and Development, Performance and Talent management, and Compensation and Benefits administration. In addition, Ruth leads and oversees day-to-day operations including Policy and Procedures development, Compliance, and Risk Management.
Prior to joining YPI, Ruth was Vice President of Human Resources and Administration of CureSearch for Children’s Cancer, a non-profit organization that funds innovative children’s cancer research. In this role, Ruth directed and oversaw all aspects of human resources in 11 states across the country. Previously, Ruth was the President of Ardent Ventures, Inc., a human resources solutions firm serving clients in various industries including health care, legal, finance, entertainment and IT.
Prior experience includes her role as Director of Administration at SupplyEdge, Inc., a software development firm specializing in component obsolescence management. She was also Regional Director of Administration at Heidrick & Struggles, an international executive search firm, where she oversaw the administration of the Latin America and Southern California offices.
Ruth began her career in human resources as the Legal Administrator of Morgan, Wenzel & McNicholas, a defense litigation firm where she directed human resources, finance, and facilities operations.
Ruth earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Management from Malone University and is certified by the American Bar Association as a Litigation Specialist. She is an active member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) and the Professionals in Human Resources Association (PHRA).
Ruth was raised in the San Gabriel Valley and lives in the Pasadena area with her husband and son.
