We empower out-of-school youth to re-engage in their education and career goals.
Participants work full-time toward their GEDs or high school diplomas while learning job skills by building affordable housing.
HOW IT WORKS
Prospective youth take part in a mental toughness week where they demonstrate their commitment to being part of the program. We review policies, expectations and participate in team building exercises.
Participating youth are placed in one of three academic tracks: GED, high school diploma, or college readiness. Each track shifts focus from academic progress to hands-on construction training on a weekly basis.
All youth work towards personal and professional development, and participate in community services opportunities. Each participant who completes the program receives a completed certification and are placed into a college or a job.
WHO WE SERVE
